Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz while endorsing the proposal in bike scheme said that the Govt of Punjab will give 19 thousand petrol bikes and 1000 electric bikes provide to students without interest on easy installments. With the support of Bank of Punjab, bikes will be given to students with traffic license across Punjab. The interest will be paid by the govt of Punjab. Students have to pay monthly installments of Rs.5000 only. The monthly installment of petrol motorcycle will be Rs 5000 and the monthly installment of e-bike will be Rs 10000. The bikes will be delivered in May following the draw that month.

In towns, 70% quota will be reserved for male students and 30% for female students to reduce travel difficulties faced by students coming from villages, the remaining 50% quota will be given to male and female students. Meanwhile, 300 hybrid diesel buses will be purchased for Lahore, 78 for Rawalpindi, 100 for Multan, 110 for Faisalabad and 42 for Bahawalpur. Hybrid diesel bus service will also be started across Punjab.
